10th Army Corps 302 Infantry Brigade held the orientation for 2015 8th Echelon voluntary soldiers and reserve non-commissioned officers. Brigadier Colonel Chung granted new recruits rifles to symbolize the start of 8-week military training. Colonel Chung said that “granting rifles” symbolizes granting the secret duty and fighting spirit to new recruits with the hope that they can take on heavy responsibilities for national defense and social stability. Brigadier Chung encouraged new recruits to take challenges fearlessly and learn actively in the training, so as to become soldiers that protect the country, value honor, and follow disciplines.
